                                     Steve Anderson wears many hats these days. He has been a licensed independent agentfor almost 25-years and is Editor of The Automated Agency Report (TAAR), a monthly newsletter dedicated to providing independent agents with the insurance technology information they need to more effectively manage and grow their agencies. He is also president of steveanderson.com, Inc. which was formed to provide practical consulting services to the insurance industry on how to maximize profits using common sense technology. Working as a manager and producer in two different independent agencies (one belonging to his father-in-law!) has provided him with a practical understanding of agency internal operations, marketing and sales management, and how an agency can most effectively use technology. Over the years, he has handled a full range of clients, specializing in the larger commercial accounts. Jack Monahan CPIA, CLU, ChFC, CIC, AAM - With over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, Jack’s responsibilities have included all aspects of supervision and management in the core functions of Sales, Marketing, Underwriting, Operations, and Policy/Customer Service with the second largest insurance corporation in the United States.  His focus has been in the independent agent arena for the past 20 years. During the mid 90’s, he was selected to participate on a home office team to significantly expand the IA distribution system. This was accomplished in 36 months by adding over 1500 new appointments and more than doubling written premium in excess of $1.2 billion of property and casualty business.  He maintains the CPIA, CLU, ChFC, CIC, and AAM designations. He supports and participates with the CPIA as a national instructor and hold an elected position on their board of directors.  Dearborn Financial Publishing, Inc. contracts with him as a freelance insurance course writer. Jack owns and manages a consulting firm, which focuses on improving agency revenues, productivity, efficiency and management techniques. Rita Hollada, CPIA, CIC, CPCU, AAI, CPIWRita Hollada is the Vice-President of The Insurance Professionals, Inc., a consulting and professional education group. She is an honors graduate of Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia and began her professional career in human resources management before entering the insurance industry in 1979 when she and her husband started an agency from scratch. She remains a licensed agent and broker.

Rita earned the designation of Accredited Advisor in Insurance in 1983, followed by the designations of Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter in 1987 and Certified Insurance Counselor in 1988. In 1997, she was awarded PIA National's Presidential Award for her work with flood insurance and natural disaster legislation. She received the CPIA designation in 1998 after assisting that organization with the development of its Insurance Success Seminars.

Rita remains an active member of the insurance industry, representing PIA National on several committees. She is also a contributor to numerous magazines and professional journals. Rita wrote a regular column on flood insurance issues for the Professional Agent Magazine for several years. She currently serves on the Flood Insurance Producers National Committee where she served as Chairman for two years. She also has served on the board of the Natural Disaster Coalition.

In addition to the insurance industry, Rita has been invited to speak on effective communication and customer service to many diverse groups. She is a member of the National Faculty of the CIC program as well as an instructor for other National Alliance programs. She designs and instructs special topic courses for insurance companies, agencies, industry associations and local community colleges and often works as a consultant with agencies on agency management issues.

Larry A. Hollada, CPCU, CIC, CPIA is President of The Insurance Professionals, Inc., of Selbyville, DE. He is a graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute with a major in English and a minor in Business Administration. He began his insurance career in 1969 with The Hartford Insurance Group, serving in various sales and administrative positions for seven years before leaving the company to join the agency ranks. In 1979 he started The Insurance Professionals, Inc. from "scratch" with his wife, Rita and later added education and agency management consulting services. Larry holds the CPCU (Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter) and CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) professional designations as well as the CPIA certification. He remains licensed as an agent, broker and surplus lines broker.

Larry has been named "Insurance Agent of the Year" twice. Once by the Insurance Field Representatives of Delaware and again by PIA of Pennsylvania, Maryland and Delaware. He is a past president of the Professional Insurance Agents Association of Pennsylvania, Maryland and Delaware, having served on their Board of Directors for many years. Additionally, he served as a Director of the National Association of Professional Insurance Agents.

Larry spends most of his time instructing, writing and consulting. He writes and instructs insurance and professional courses for a variety of organizations, as well as specifically designed education programs for insurance agencies and companies. He, and his wife Rita, provide agency management consulting services for small, medium and large agencies. Larry has also had articles published in professional magazines including ProAgent, Watermark, Agent and Broker and The Director. He is an instructor for Agent Licensing Courses, and was instrumental in the development of the Pennsylvania licensing text. He is a faculty member for the CISR and CPIA professional development courses as well as the CIC program. In addition he has instructed various CPCU, AAI and other advanced courses.
